There Is Still Hope

Hope. We all hope for many things in this life.
I know I hope, and I have faith, that I will return to my Heavenly Father and my Saviour Jesus Christ and become an exalted being like them. However, it can be fairly easy to doubt yourself and lose hope for the future, as heaven seems far away. But there is still hope. You can do it. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ believe in you. I believe in you.
"Doubt your doubts before you doubt your faith."
- President Dieter F. Uchtdorf (Oct 2013 LDS General Conference, "Come, Join With Us")
When this world feels lonely, remember that you are never alone. You are never going through things on your own. Jesus Christ is there beside you, helping you along, guiding you, and even carrying you when walking forward becomes too difficult.

The Saviour atoned for your sins, and when you use the Atonement it brings you closer to being more like him. As you become more like the Saviour, you also become more like the Father in Heaven. It is through the Atonement that we can return to the Father again.
If we will:
1) become as a little child, meek and submissive to the Father's will,
2) act in faith and listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost throughout our life, and
3) overcome the natural man,
we will "be blessed with the strength to repent and with the strength to change." We will again be walking on the strait and narrow path that leads to eternal life.
"I promise that each faith-filled step will be met with help from heaven. Guidance will come as we pray to our Heavenly Father, rely on our Savior and follow Him, and listen to the Holy Spirit. Strength will come because of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Healing and forgiveness will come because of God’s grace. Wisdom and patience will come by trusting in the Lord’s timing for us. Protection will come by following God’s living prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. You were created 'that [you] might have joy,' joy you will feel when you worthily return to your Heavenly Father and your Savior and step into Their warm embrace" (Elder Randall K. Bennett, Oct 2015 LDS General Conference, "Your Next Step").
I pray that you will all be able to find peace this week and hope for the future. Find joy in the little things everyday, and remember that God loves you.
